I truly love Maren's character. As for right now I am having to become her for my acting assessment and being able to understand her deeply i'm connecting with her more and more. She is vunrible and alone, she's terrified so she follows her inner emotions with not trusting Sully entirely, though in the book she does trust him because she is desperate for help, and him being the first eater she has met, she trusts him more. However, her movie character is driven differently, only trusting Lee and not Sully. This opens something up in her, seeing how she trusts certain people. Also seeing her entire backstory of each of the people she has killed and how that has had an affect on her shows the before, during and after of how her personal experiences and morals drives her as a person. I'm really enjoying analysing her and playing her and just really love how her character has been brought to life two seperate ways.
