I grew up Buddhist but I left that and started exploring other options. I’ve been to churches and temples and just concluded that I am better off an atheist. Although I am non religious, I tend to be spiritual and love a good hike to connect to nature!
What religion or non-religion are you and why?

i prefer spirituality over religion, especially organized religion. but there are some ideas from religions that interest me, like paganism and ancient religions like ancient greek and celtic myths i think are pretty cool to think and talk about. christianity would be cool if it wasn't used for so much hate but it is what it is i guess
I completely agree! There are some aspects to paganism and witchcraft that I really like, like their respect of nature. One of my first books growing up was on greek mythology! Some of the stories are pretty epic!! Thank you for responding to my blog and have a wonderful weekend!

I believe in my own personal religion I've created (though any are welcome to join it). It's based on the principle that all living beings are connected through a collective soul which we are all part of and return to after death. I believe good deeds should be done for the sake of bringing joy to ourselves and others since it then increases the overall happiness of the world, whether directly or indirectly. I have yet to name the religion but I hope others share this belief and would like to join me. I was raised Christian but I feel that it is more likely the universe created itself than it is that a god was responsible.
i agree, i believe we as humans should be kind for the sake of kindness and serve each other, whether there is a god or not. although i don't beileve in any particular entity creating us, i do believe we are connected with each other more than we know or understand and maybe when do die we return to the star stuff we were born from idk i think that'd be nice

grew up very religious but now i'd say i'm non-religious and spiritual :) i talked about it in one of my blog posts ! may i ask why you quit buddhism?
The Buddhism that I practiced was the Confucius version, where I had to bow to a god shrine and the four directions everyday. One day, I just told my mom I didn’t want to do that anymore, and she was fine with it surprisingly. I think it’s cool that you are spiritual even if you are non-religious. Some people confuse spiritualism with being religious.
