Art of insanity

     That little voice in your head telling you to forget, reminding you that " it's too painful to dwell on". That voice cautiously replaying all the memories of pain, lost love, a life that could have been.. a life that was your's once upon a time. That little voice speaks wisdom into your soul, yet we don't listen. Endless nights of sleep deprivation thinking of every action, every possibility, everything you should have done. This is Insanity at it's purest.

    Finding rest is a challenge, but once you wake you see it.. your life that could have been. Only it's not memories, it is someone else's life, living in your bliss. You scroll endlessly through pictures, posts, and tags watching your "once upon a time" on someone else's feed. Watching your "what could have been" being loved by another, the unwavering pain you feel with each picture reminds you that in the end... You mean nothing. 

    Art of insanity is wishing upon a star, for a life you beg to have just out of reach, but never out of sight. Everlasting heartbreak, the darkness encroaching on your soul. Total loss of happiness... But you watch that fairytale life anyway. Insanity.
