The Council of Franks

A buddy and I were chatting the other day, and I had a thought regarding Frank Castle, alias The Punisher:

Why has there not been a meaningful team-up of Franks from across the multiverse?

You're probably familiar with The Council of Reeds, a group of Reed Richards's from across the Marvel Multiverse, famously lampooned by Rick and Morty. But in that story, and many others, why a character is thrust together with the alternate version of themselves, they're often at odds, begrudgingly working together to figure out what happened and how to fix it.

However, because of the unique psychology of The Punisher, I don't think this would happen in a similarly crafted story.

In every iteration of the Punisher, he is a vigilante, broken by the lack of justice following the murder of his wife and children, and when given the opportunity, he decides to take punishment into his own hands, becoming a terrifying spectre of street vigilantism that, in some stories, has amounted to a body count of three thousand over five decades. When confronted by the Ghost Rider and subjected to the Penance Stare, it had no effect, because Frank has no regrets and believes his actions to be necessary. I think, if given the opportunity to work with 3-5 versions of himself, all with the same goal and modus operandi, Frank and Co. would lay waste to organized criminals with terrifying precision and efficiency.

What would the "hero" response to that be, from a group like The Defenders, or even the Avengers? ONE Punisher has proven difficult for someone like Spider-man, Daredevil, and even Captain America. But FIVE? Including FrankenCastle and Ghost Rider Punisher? That's a kill team with possibly no equal.

Anyway, I had to get these thoughts out of my head and onto paper (metaphorically speaking) so I could stop being distracted by comic book nonsense.
