Social interaction

When you want to talk to some people because you can hear them talking about cool stuff but them you realise you're a nosy weirdo so you try to stop listening to them but then they try to start a conversation with you but you can't hear them because you're trying to ignore them and want to start talking realllllllly badly to them but you're scared you'll seem rude for ignoring them and only talking to them after their cue is gone so you just keep ignoring them and think about what you just missed.
