velvet yarn for clothes

usually, velvet yarn would be used to make amigurumis/plushies, however, i bought some a few days ago to make a scarf with since its so nice to feel on my skin, i wanted it on my face. 

this has made me think about making an underskirt for the next winter. not sure how wind resistant the yarn is, but i think it probably works pretty well for that. i will probably not make one for a few months because 1) its a little expensive and 2) its becoming summer soon and i have summer clothes to crochet rn c:
