MY LAMP THEMED SKATE DECK !!!!!!

in this art class im taking weh ave this assienment where we have to paint a skaeboard deck+_+, i decided to paint the genso album cover on mine and i think its coming along pretty well ^_^. here is the deck over time

this is my first coat and the fisrt day i started painting, its pretty poopy looking but it gets better ;)

this is my second coat, at this point i didnt know exactly where i wanted to go with this piece yet,i liked the streakyness of the paint and wanted to keep that as i felt it added texture, however i also kinda didnt like how washed out it made everything look.

by this time i had a feel for what i wanted but i didnt know how to execute it, the bottom flower looks so bad right now but thats cuz i havent really touched it up since the first coat but it will get better i promsie T_T.

okay this is today and i toched up the bottom flower so it looks much better as well as just adding general improvements, such as fading the blacks more and fleshing out the reds and touching up the stem. i think for the most part this probably close to my final rendition but well see. im no artist but i would say im pretty proud of this. although it doesnt look too different from the first day i started working on it, i did put a lot of time into this project so im pretty proud lmk what anyone thinks (^.^)!
