Hair help xd

achieving the perfect classic emo haircut is hard for my hair. I can't get it to stay, even if I keep it in place for days. I want to get my hair razored soon, but that will be a bit. For now im just trying to keep that sideswept style, its also hard to get spikes/floof exactly how you want it lol. Sorry this is short but if anyone has any tips that'd be great xd
