1940s film was booming and weird

In the 40s the film industry was huge and they made over 1000 full length movies which is a low number for now in days but a whole lot for people who who take meth to win wars. Speaking of wars WWII had an odd affect on the film industry with the war being very well documented due to all the advances in technology, we also saw a unique use of film for propaganda by none else than Walt Disney with less than wholesome modivation with dumbo loosing his spot for mammal of the year for a fallen soldier they lost the pr opertunity of a lifetime so they went to "one up" the fallen General Douglas MacArthur and sent his cartoons to war, in one episode Minnie is detailed turning bacon grease into a bomb, In another we see the always patriotic Donald having a nightmare of being a nazi. outside of disney we also saw films like Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo and Ships with Wings. Both huge war movies produced at the time. some other memerable movies of the time being Citizen Kane and Its A Wonderfull Life
