I've been on here for a while, and I think you should take a fun little trip down the hall of my favorite cartoons
You might find this to be a weird choice, but I really love this show. It's about a 16-year-old sociopath named Kevin Spencer, living with his unemployed parents in Ottawa, Ontario. Kevin has an imaginary goose for a friend, named Allen, who tells him what to do and how he should go on with his day-to-day life. I love this because it feels like it comes from a personal experience and makes it even more chaotic. The show's animation and art style took a huge change. Watch an episode from Season 1, and then watch an episode from Season 5. You'll see what I mean. The show went for a South Park-ish style for the first 4 seasons, and then it turned into a way for the animators to learn After Effects more and whatnot. The theme song describes this character accurately. You better not cross his path, because he's a chainsmoking alcoholic sociopath! (Cough syrup is optional for Kevin). I recommend giving this show a watch if you love the cut-and-paste style of South Park and wanna see something even more chaotic.
Of course I was gonna choose something with anthropomorphic animals. This here is a little inbetween show called "Weird Answer Kommand" that aired on Nickelodeon during the early to mid 90s. The show itself is about a fox named Hailey, a kangaroo named Bonnie, and a panda named Jack answering the world's most "ridiculous" questions sent in by the mysterious Belgian man. I recommend giving these shorts a watch if you're into funny and goofy animals getting squashed or fattened (like me! haha)
Here's another good pick! This is a show about two ferret roommates/brothers who go about in their home town and whatnot. There used to be two other characters that would accompany them, a ferret wearing a red robe named Snuppa, and a female ferret with yellow hair named Bianca. I have no idea why the hell they wrote them out, but honestly they work well in the shorts. You can watch these on YouTube, and they're from the short-lived series Kablam! that used to air on Nickelodeon for a while. It's got a vibe similar to the Angry Beavers that I love a lot (probably because I'm a huge fan of cartoony anthro animals, mainly chonky ones hehehehe) and I recommend you give it a watch if you love that kind of vibe.
Well, that's all I have for now. If I think of any more I'll make another post about it.
