Decentralized Web. Are You In?

This seems like a fun idea and has a lot of potential. I know it has been done in P2P networks at least in part.

It would start small until people learned how to contribute their bandwidth and storage space to it. I am sure there would be a need for redundant storage of data. Also I'm sure we could choose if we want to store our data in a decentralized cloud or just on our own. We could also share peer to peer directly and by pass the decentralized cloud functionality at times.

Community hubs could be indeed stored on an evenly distributed processing medium within the community where each member is participating in supplying recourses such as a virtual server running within the app that is serving the community common pages and directories and databases.

I think this would need to be written into code and would have to talk to a custom operating system to make it work. From there it just manages resources in such a way as to emerge the phenomena of community.
