thank you for showing me why i should never have given you so much of myself
thank you
seriously
thank you
caught in a moment where weakness creeps into my capillaries and overtakes my body like a parasite
you show me exactly how garish your true colors really are
my blood runs cold
why do i love the rush
why do i need it
i appreciate the way your teeth snap at my fingers when i forget why they shouldn't linger at the bars of your cage for too long
i’m enamoured with your venom soaked teeth
i’m captivated by your every twist and turn
i catch myself straying from my path
toward your warm and welcoming
gaping
cavernous maw
Teeth beckoning me forth
begging for the tearing of my flesh from my bones
Your jaw rushes closed
i leave with scars
but at least i leave
eyes to the sky
the unsteady foundation that is my body rickets away, toward
being
don’t turn around
don’t look back
hubris cranes my neck
thank you
Again. and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and again.and
