youth pastors are weird man

okay so I go to church right?? frequently.

why is it that every youth pastor (aside from one singular guy in particular) has this weird story about going to a restaurant (it's always a diner for some reason??) and saying to a waitress (never a waiter): 

"hey, can I tell you a story that changed my life?" 

and the lady is always like "I don't get paid enough for this shit, sure."

so the guy will go on about yk the usual Jesus saved my life stuff, the typical youth pastor spiel.

so then the waitress at Denny's or some shit will break down and start sobbing and going on a rant about her useless baby daddy and her 5 kids she's providing for??? they hit every stereotype in one go fr fr.

anyways

so then they've converted this random lady. Good for them. However I would be more inclined to believe this story if I hadn't heard it from like 5 different youth pastors??? like were you guys all at the same fuckin Denny's or what??? imagine all of these youth pastors at the same mf Denny's and there's just a crowd of sobbing single mothers.

pls tell me I'm not the only one that's heard this story a billion times??? there's no way this happened to all of them. 

also, it always ends with them boasting about how they tipped the waitress.
