mine would have to be a split between pierce the veil and fall out boy. i love both bands because for starters, they don't glamorize such negative things the way most secular music does nowadays. for ptv my fav song would have to be a split between floral and fading, and dive in. floral and fading just has a beautiful melody, and dive in is a hate song i dedicated to my abusive ex. its a song i can scream and then feel great after. for this band specifically, i have had a passion for them going on 10 years now. they got me through some of my darkest times. there was an incident where i was contemplating "sewerslide", and right as i was going to do the deed a ptv song came on. one that i didnt particularly favor. i went to change the song, and suddenly aborted my attempt. they kinda saved my life!
as for fob, i honestly just love their sound. all of their songs are amazing. my favorite song by them is thnks fr th mmrs. I was in an identical situation pete was in that song, so it hits close to home for me. for a while i was seeing 777 everywhere and couldn't figure out why. one day i decided to do some research on the song, and stumbled across a specific date. that song hit the top 100 billboard on 7/7/07. so weird!! cannot be a coincidence that the song plot was my life and 777 was the date!

mine rn is fob aswell!! ive been inlove with their music for almost 10 years now and they've helped me thru sm in life. i always love to deep dive into their lyrics and their meanings because cmon pete wentz is a lyrical genius, and i fell inlove with patrick's voice. i also LOVE patrick's solo work, soul punk my beloved. their music just also gives me so much nostalgia since me and my older sister grew up listening to them. i also love all their albums they've put out; seriously not one of them is bad at all!!! this year im gonn go to my 3rd fob concert and im so hyped!!! seriously, this band is my everything and theyve been with me for so long i love them sm!!! <3

My taste is pretty fluid, but Gojira hasn’t moved from no.1 for a long time now. I love how their style has changed quite a lot of over the years (they started out as as a full on techdeath band, and evolved into a completely unique style) and aren’t afraid to try out new things to incorporate in their songs. Joe’s voice is fuckin powerful too! And fits extremely well with the “epicness” of their work. I also like how they promote inviormentalism (I think that’s a word?) in almost every album they’ve put out. As an environmentalist myself, it’s pretty awesome! I can also go on and on about the instrumentals and how crazy talented every member is, but I won’t lmao. But anyway, it’s hard to pick a favorite song from them! But it comes in between Backbone, Wolf Down The Earth, and Clone! All are insanely good songs. Okay I’m gonna shut up now cuz this is getting waaaaayyy too long 0_o

Personally my favorite band is mcr. Ik its basic but just something about the feelings they put into their songs and the meaning behind their songs really means a lot to me. They really helped me be myself and feel like i have people that like the things i do. The members also really speak out about mental health and that means a lot to me bc i have struggled with a lot of mental health problems in the past and their music really helped me through it all. My favorite song by them has to be i dont love you, disenchanted, and kill all your friends. i dont love you really just means a lot to me and so does disenchanted it really makes me feel heard yk. And kill all your friends is just a banger tbh.

I rly love Nirvana!! Kurt's rough-groany singing to songs that go from soft to crazy to soft again. It's so soothing yet chaotic!!

Sleeping with sirens is my favorite band of all time, always has been, always will be. My favorite song of theirs is hard to choose because there's so many, but it's a hard battle between who are you now (love and unplugged and original version) don't fall asleep at the helm, another day, or roger rabbit. Sws music was the first thing I felt I really connected with super deep as a kid and ive been in love with it ever since. Their style of music is just so unique and kellins voice is my favorite voice of all time. So much talent and so much emotion in every lyric, sleeping with sirens always puts me in a good mood. And not only sws, but any music Kellin Quinn has ever been a part of, like closer to closure or screenplay. Like Kellin rapping in C2C? So fucking good, and somehow his voice is even more angelic in some of those old songs
