[Note] Basic Cell Types Introduction

Cells are the smallest unit of life that can replicate independently.
Bacteria cells care whole organism, so they are reproducing when they replicate.
Animal/Plant cells mostly just are growing their multicellular host, or replacing dead cells.

Subcellular structures are what make up the cel.

Animal vs Plant Cells:
- Both have cell membranes, these control what can pass in and out of the cell.
- Both have a nucleus, which hold DNA.
- Both have Cytoplasm, which is where all the subcellular structures reside in.
- Both Mitochondria is what powers the cell.
- Both contain Ribosomes, which is sites of protein synthesis.
- Plant cells have a rigid wall made of a cellulose.
- Plant cells have a permanent Vacuole (contains sap for energy).
- Plant cells have chloroplasts, where photosynthesis happens. Contains Chlorofophyll.

Bacterial Cells:
- Prokaryotic Cells, meaning they are unicellular organisms.
- Cell membrane
- cell wall
- cell wall
- cytoplasm
- NO mitochondria or chloroplasts.
- NO nucleus
- they have a circular stand of DNA that floats around freely inside of them.
- Occasionally Plasmids, which are extra DNA for antibotic resistence usually.
- Flagella, propells bacteria.
