Brown Native Woman

In my opinion I understand that Navajo culture favors masculinization of a Navajo woman. Why would they disregard the fact that in Navajo Culture we have a beautiful feminine Goddess name Changing Woman. I’m tired of Western culture making me feel shameful of existing as a native brown woman. After all the years of my own internal misogyny. I only tortured my feminine self because I would shrink to fit the idealism of how a woman should be and to make the males in my life feel comfortable. When It should’ve been opposite. Honestly I hate that and I won’t ever let my daughters go through that.
