A Breath

A breath, a moment

A deafening hush

A hated longing

A stupid crush

A breath, a coldness

A shadowed wall

And there I stand

Away from them all

A breath, a pause

A parted glance

I’d tell you more

If I had a chance

A breath, a breath

A breath again

I don’t want this

To ever end 

Breathe in, breathe out

Just look away

He’ll come again

Another day
