i'm desi (bangladeshi to be specific) and i eat a lot of bangladeshi food! maybe too much

I AM HERE TO SHOW YOU MY FAVORITE BANGLADESHI FOOD AND SWEETS!!

 

!!!MEALS!!!

1. i loveee this fish called "ilish" and it goes amazingly with rice (i mean what else are you going to eat it with) its SO GOOD but it has so many bones and shit in it like it literally wants to stab you,, me and my brother call the little bones "swords" and we have like competitions to see who can get the bigger sword





2. biryani omg EVERYONE KNOWS BIRYANI OR ATLEAST YOU SHOULD !!! its a type of rice and it goes well with like almost everything BUT in my opinion it goes best with chicken, beef and fish <3 i love it so much yummamammmama

!SWEETS!  

 1. rosogolla. THEY ARE SO YUM OH MY GOODNESS. its this milky syrupy sweet and its literally so delicious oh my god IF YOU HAVENT TRIED THEM PLEASE DO!!!! we don't get bangladeshi sweets often so its always a special surprise when we do!

2. payeshhh its soooo good!!! you usually eat this when having an eid party after fasting, its pretty traditional and its so yums,,, my family only ever makes this dish during eid and never any other time of year so its pretty special to me

try these foods if you havent already !!! i love them so i had to talk about them :) there's lots of other desi foods i could talk about but formatting this was hell so i only talked about a select few :D what are some foods you guys like ?
