She will project the negativity on to the relationship. She so used to losing she dont recognize when she winning. It’s like she’s programmed to now think catastrophically and are just waiting for you to do them wrong or mess up. So she will self sabotage the relationship from jump. However, As time progresses and they realize you are the real deal they still say it's too good to be true, yet still remain defensive, that’s damaging for us also. As a man it can feel like you’re battling uphill against her past traumas that she hasn’t healed from. Healing is a process and takes time, So much unlearning, relearning, trust and patience but to be a punching bag? Y date if u aren’t healed?
