Sports!

Tonight, come to think of it... even if I was really high energy and tomboyish in high school, I was super bad at sports. <(＿　＿)>

Even when we were just throwing the ball to each other, it's like that scene in Azumanga where Chiyo and Osaka throw the ball to each other and keep getting hit, or miss each other and run away?! (ˉ▽ˉ；)... But I was laughably terrible at missing the balls, to the point where you think it was a gag or something!?

and if I wasn't throwing or catching, but if I was walking a few laps with my friends, the ball would strike me in the head. And it was ALWAYS ONLY ME?! ～(　TロT)σ That's always awkward, because you have to throw it back, and the owners always look so guilty and embarrassed..

Oh, baseball though... that was the worst. (゜ロ゜;) If you held a gun to my head and said 'pocchi, hit this ball with the bat', I'd be dead on the ground. The way we played baseball, the team that was batting would line up in this huge line and wait their turn to bat... usually my friends naturally stuck to the end of the line, because we shared PE with a bunch of athletic boys who were really into it, but even they were pretty decent at batting!

So as time went on, I'd go, 'oh, hey, you can go in front of me, no problem! (ˉ▽￣ ;)" and make conversation at the back of the line, until I was at the very end of the line with the 3 or so girls who also hated baseball. But they would at least TRY to bat... I got to a point where I was TERRIFIED TO BAT, so I tried to avoid it! sometimes I wasn't so lucky though. (大汗)

when I was up to bat, the other team was always excited, because... they knew. ( ͡ ' ˍゝ͡ ' )

I almost never hit that ball...

if I did, it went flying out of bounds.
Into the parking lot.
On the roof.
Once it even flew over the fence into an opposing pasture with sheep in it. We didn't get that one back. just... don't ask me to play baseball. <(＿　＿)>

BUT! There is something I'm good at, and it's street hockey... Street hockey is super fun, but gets pretty violent quick, but that's why I'm so good at it... ___*( ￣皿￣)/#____ NO COORDINATION... NO PRECISE MOVEMENT... Just body everyone and hit that damn puck!!

everyone fears having baseball-Pocchi on their team, but everyone dreads having hockey-Pocchi as their opponent... I was a ruthless soldier... A bloodthirsty hockey monster... I mowed down everyone in my sight... Attacking regardless of target... (///￣皿￣)○～ ( but, I think I played dirty sometimes? )

Yes... Yes, I think I was terrible except for street field hockey. It's bad at baseball, basketball, lacrosse, golf, whipping, etc. But don't get near me if I have a hockey stick. ( It makes me wonder what ice hockey is like, but I hear it's pretty gory... )
