my rating ;; 7/10

they're probably one of my favorite bands in the genre personally, but they're an acquired taste for sure. not everyone likes metalcore infused with dance music or post-hardcore in general (elitists' #1 enemy fr)
anyways, they have 4 studio released albums and consist of 4 members with 2 former members that were replaced almost immediately (idol groups tend to do this lol)

this one is OKAY at best i wont lie but the songs that i do listen to are absolute bangers. they're basically like.. if attack attack was a jpop idol group o_O...
same as before, they're a 4 member group but with 5 former members (i swear this is normal in idol culture lol) but the current lineup is solid and i hope they stick with it O_O

im gonna put this band on the biggest high-horse possible because everything down to the breakdowns, vocals and even the BASS is good as HELL. you literally cannot go wrong with these cool ass mfs.
theyre not an idol group necessarily (since they play their own instruments and member lineups dont depend on the company entirely) but they fall under the genre because they still infused their music with j-pop. they have 4 members with 2 former members xd....

NECRONOMIDOL

rating ;; 9/10 mostly for originality and execution

this one is a little different from the others mostly based on their sound as a group. they're whats called a "dark idol group", meaning they make music away from the standard j-pop sound and instead make darkwave, synthwave, etc. this combined with post-black metal and japanese folk makes for a sound ive literally never heard with other groups like EVER. not to mention their name is a play on "NECRONOMICON" by H.P. Lovecraft and the word "idol" combined... like okay slay.
i dont even wanna name how many members theyve had or have (theyre on hiatus anyways so phew) but the three key members that most people recognize are Himari, Roa, Shiki, and Nana.
