Withnail and High (v2) [Weed HCs]

Hi! I decided to rewrite my Withnail high headcanons to be more organised and coherent, especially as I (fittingly) wrote the original post while high.

Please understand this is an 18+ post due to in depth drug discussion and brief kink mentions.

In the main au, we would be getting high on the sofa or in my bedroom.

The sofa is mostly for having friends around, and primarily used for smoking. This would be if Withnail has Danny around or I have Vyvian around. Could also be me, Withnail, Vyvian and Ford all hanging out.

My bedroom has a red light that tends to be on, with heavy curtains drawn to black out any other light. My bed has a lot of plushies, which Withnail originally mocks me for, before realising that they're very comfortable to lay on when high. It's a very nice bed, and while Withnail won't voice his appreciation (especially after mocking it), he does come to enjoy it.

We would mostly use edibles to get high, however Withnail often smokes at the same time, and likely gets ashes all over the bed. In the first half of the au, I would make him eat the ashes.

While he's generally a grumpy person, weed would relieve a lot of his chronic pain and he would relax a little. He finds everything funnier, and laughs a lot.

Occasionally I hallucinate while high (I am psychotic and weed does impact this somewhat), and I think he would find it amusing and often attempt to make it worse or try to scare me.

After a while, we get in the habit of listening to music while high. This started when he tried to play some fucked up music he enjoys, with the intent of scaring me, only to find I genuinely love that type of music too. He shows me more music like that, and we both end up with a fondness for drone metal, especially Sunn O))).

I also decide to show him some of my music taste, specifically the more miserable stuff as I think he would enjoy it. This includes things like the Tallahassee album by The Mountain Goats.

In specifically the personal selfship I have with him, Withnail is touch starved. I intend to write a post on this later and link it here.

I think when he is high with me, he finally gives in and accepts physical contact. Nothing big at first, but one day we're high and laying on my bed together, and he moves a little closer and lets me stroke his hair. It's the only time he'll take that sort of affection willingly.

We also both end up into dumbification, namely through being high / intox kink. We both enjoy not having to think, worry, or feel pressure to Be Something.

Getting high together becomes one of the most affectionate activities we do.
