Anybody ever started ajob they were excited for just to realize you hate it?

I just recently switched jobs, and I was incredibly excited for it. Higher pay, supposedly better hours, way less commuting. 

Today was only my fourth day and I already want to quit this stupid job. I spent my first three days basically training myself because the manager decided they were going to make sure to never schedule themselves for the same shift as me, and the people I mainly work with have come in at least an hour to several late for every single shift we've worked together. Today, one of said employees pitched a fit about my lack of communication when I'm so new I didn't even know what was going on to communicate things to anyone. 

I was looking forward to my schedule, I'm so used to working every single day of the week and some weekends to boot and this job was supposed to pay the same or more with me only working three days of the week. So I'd finally be able to have some free time and enjoy life, get things done around the house, run errands, get myself a fucking lunch for funsies for once. 

Joke is definitely on me with that one. Manager didn't even talk to me about it before deciding the schedule we agreed on just didn't work for her and scheduled me for every single weekday without so much as 24hrs notice. And then, when I talked to her about it today she told me I'd work it whether I like it or not, and my state doesn't have any legal regulations about scheduling notices and conflicts so I literally have no choice but to do exactly that.

Anybody hiring??? Cause I'm interested lmao
