The Red Baron

Pretty much everyone who knows me off SpaceHey already knows this, but I felt like bringing it up again because I had another weird dream last night.

I won't get into the details, but I believe in past lives. And I very heavily believe that in one of my past lives, I was good friends with the Red Baron. There's a lot of reasons why and I understand it seems silly. But regardless of whether it's true or not, the Red Baron has had a lot of influence over who I am today.

The stories of him are what introduced me into aviation in the first place, and even my nickname (Red Broski) was directly inspired by the name Red Baron.

I have (or rather, had) a best friend who's nickname was Red Baron, and he introduced me into all kinds of past life and supernatural stuff. (He doesn't actually believe he's the Red Baron, he just liked the name. We've joked about it though.)

I'm very much a spiritual person, but I don't like to ever speak about anything that involves actual people who lived. And none of my experiences ever have involved actual historical figures, except for the Red Baron. Since I was little I dreamed a lot that I was a pilot during that time and knew him and that we were friends.

I even read his autobiography (great read, by the way) and his personality was pretty much exactly like how I'd dreamed it and perceived him to be.

Really not sure what it all means, and I've never considered it as a definite 100% possibility, my attitude towards it is more of a "wouldn't be suprised if it were true" kinda thing.

But I dunno, I just felt like sharing that, I suppose. I can't even hear the word "Baron" without going into a whole mental spiral thinking about my friend Baron (whole other story there) and the Red Baron.

In any case, I'm just glad that I grew up idolizing him and that his stories inspired me to get to where I am today.
