anybody else feel like the vampire diaries' best seasons were 1-3? (SPOILERS FOR SEASONS 1-7)

hello remaining tvd fans (lol) today ill be talking about my fav show the vampire diaries :) btw this wont be a well thought out thing ill just be rambling to you a thousand words per minute just like if we were at a sleepover :)) 

ever since I started season 4 I feel like tvd was starting to become bleh..I def think the first half of season 4 was good! but since then it just hasn't hit exactly the same sadly :(

first lets start off with season 1 the best season

season1: ahh the first season of tvd.. good times. this season focused heavily on romance, the sensual aspect of vampirism, horror elements, and of course showing how terrible vampires were. it also didnt shy away from topics like Jeremys substance abuse and his complicated relationship with Jenna and Elena. it was also a very creative season and I could sense the passion behind it! speaking of passion we can't forget about stefan and Elena! this relationship was what made tvd you could feel the chemistry between the two!

season2: also the best season next to season1. it continued from season 1 and all the same elements from season 1 were still present albeit it had a less indie feel to it. although... this was kind of the start of the downfall of Stefan x Elena.. and the start of exploring Damon and Elena. it wasn't as horror as the previous season but more supernatural. this is the season where the originals are introduced! and it def spiced it up! 

season 3: the start of tvd going to poo. the whole professor shane thing was incrediblybooring to me. I honestly wish theydidnt add him. and oh boy the hunter thing was also boring. and training on that house in the woods? eh not so cool. then Damon x Elena popped up right in our face. sadly Elena became what I wish she didnt ( a vamp) and it only made Damon and Elena more plausible with her breaking it off with stefan :'( even with all the bad stuff I still enjoyed it in the beginning. the middle was okay and the end was cool.

I pretty much summarized all three seasons out of very limited memory so good job to me. I also tried very hard to not be biased on the whole stelena and delena thing (but I think we all know which one I like more (wink wink)

i think the downfall of tvd has a lot to do with Elena. since Elena became a vamp there's no exact mystery, no danger, nothing! she's just a no personality girl.. who only knows to follow Damons every little command and nothing else. and worst of all he's a TERRIBLE INFLUENCE ON HER! she knows it everybody knows it but she's like "omg somehow we always find our way back to each other so we must like be soulmates or something"!! she has zero morality. I swear bonnie and Damon had more chemistry in one season (season 6) than Damon and Elenas relationship combined and that's saying a lot. speaking of bonnie and Damon... did anyone else think there was a lot of odd chemistry between the two..?  anyways that's a post for another time.

anyway, season 8 has been promising so far (im only on ep 8) its very interesting! so tell me what you think or dont... but id prefer if someone responded or something because I took too long to write this. x)
