i realized that most blinkie makers, like blinkie cafe, don't have templates with alternating text options, so i made a tutorial on how to make a simple blinkie with alternating text and nothing else too special about it, as the best i can do is an icon swapping sides, like this blinkie that i made that sparked interest for a tutorial
1. grab a blinkie of your desired dimensions!
2. cover it with your preferred background color
3. make your border on a new layer.
4. add lines of your secondary border color on a new layer, duplicating and moving that layer as needed to cover the border in "stripes"
5. duplicate both border layers and swap the colors (this will create the blinkie effect later on)
6. add text, save, then swap what border layers you have visible and save again. repeat with your second line of text.
7. open your video editor, input the two versions of text one, shorten and repeat the clips, then do the same with text two.
put the two video clips together and adjust the speed as needed
8. save, then open your video-to-gif converter
9. save with the repetition set to infinite
