Hihi!! Even though my profile says I’ve been on Spacehey for about a year, I’ve not used it til yesterday. This is my first blog post and I hope you enjoy.
Spacehey Introduction
About a year ago or so, twitter did something to hit the shitter in my mind. Twitter always does bad things though, so I can’t recall exactly what it was. Anyways, one of my friends was like, hey, this site is cool. I made a page but didn’t do anything with it til yesterday because my friend Lambda reminded me it exists. I think this place is so cool so far!! Like, everyone is just themself and I think that’s great. You can take a peep at their profile and think “oh WOW they’re cool” when on other sites it takes reading a ton of posts on someone's profile or reading their carrd or whatever (no offense to carrd users.)
I also love seeing other’s profiles. CSS/html editing is an aspect of self expression that not a lot of sites have. Speaking of…
Profile Editing
I didn’t need to get into the nitty and gritty too much thanks to this pre-existing layout that spoke to my soul. I just had to do some edits like choosing a more readable body background and adding embeds + buttons. I want to make something more custom in the future, but despite my huge interest in technology I barely know how to do stuff with CSS and HTML and haven’t found the motivation to really get around to it. Also, I did all of my editing on my Macbook from 2009 and I think that's really cool, actually.
Persona 5.
This is the most sudden topic shift ever, I know. But after I was done editing my profile, I really wanted to do something nice for myself, so I bought Persona 5. I don’t know any other way to say this, twas as sudden in reality as the mention of it here.
Technically, I already owned Persona 5 Royal on Xbox Game Pass. But, I could not play my copy of Persona 5 Royal on my Steam Deck without using the Game Pass’s game streaming service, XCloud. Not going to lie, I played a great portion into the game via that and needless to say, wasn’t a good experience. Was already around 15 hours in, so I decided I should just buy the game on Steam already. I found it for $51 on another site so I saved 9 dollars, 6 if you count processing fees as it was sold for euros for a US copy... weird.
I had to transfer my save file, which was a little difficult.. Specifically because I am an idiot. I transferred the wrong file to save data thinking it would work. Dumbassery pictured below:
I did get it to work thanks to that nudge in the right direction though, and I wouldn’t have had to lose so many hours that I put into it.
Persona 5 Royal is really fun though. I am like, 20 hours in now and I can say I love this game. I’m not even far into it at all; only in about the second “chapter” or so. Cannot say much without looking insane to those that haven’t played it, haha.
This part was a total time waster though, just needed to incorporate mentioning persona 5 into this entry without actually mentioning much about the game itself I guess :P
I wasted so much time that it's.. 3 AM Already?!
Daylight Savings
Oh golly gee. That time of year. Woohoo! I love my schedule being out of wreck so that MacDonald has an extra hour to grow his plants!
It's genuinely so unnecessary, why does time work like this. I hope the bill making it permanent actually passes in the United States. Never losing an hour again, nope.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the ramblings of a Mad-enby here ^-^ I'll do this more often as this is really fun :D
