The friend group cycle (kinda vent-ish)

I want to find new friends --> I search for a group for something that might be interesting --> I find a new group that looks cool --> I join it --> I like it and just about everyone in there --> Months (or even years) pass and the group gets worse --> I become jaded and start disliking everyone in there --> I leave or become completely inactive --> I want to find new friends --> I search for a group for something that might be interesting --> I find a new group that looks cool --> I join it --> I like it and just about everyone in there --> Months (or even years) pass and the group gets worse --> I become jaded and start disliking everyone in there --> I leave or become completely inactive --> I want to find new friends

Repeat ad nauseum. TBH at this point I should just stick with the 5 or so groups I actually enjoy being in.
