Lunar Shift (11/03/2023)

Some spaceship concepts for my characters. It's based on an ant because I wanted to base it on some kind of scavenger animal. I started with the top left one but eventually settled on the bottom right one because it was cuter. The colors still aren't final though.

While I was coming up with ideas for episodes (I won't spoil the plot), I thought of one of my characters, Korm, waving happily through a window at an unamused passerby. The ship hasn't been finalized yet in this doodle.

Original concept sketch for Korm in my normal style. Of course, I'm only one person animating this cartoon so I decided to make my style more cutesy and silly so I had to simplify him like in the previous picture. But this is what he would've looked like. As you can see I'm experimenting with his colors.

A lot of the stuff I've done for the show so far has mostly just been doodles. Mainly because I'm incredibly busy with school. I kinda like the idea of it being very loose and sketchy though. It's like if my dumb little sketchbook and brain came to life on your screen. Kinda neat.
