Here's a poem about an old friend group :)

A group of girls is passionate,

Above all else.

It is a snap of the fingers to get the ball rolling.

I met you a month ago; I’d do anything for you.

It is heavy, honey flavored:

You are so much more than you seem.

It is mud-covered escapades through unknown territory:

We will get through this together.

It is ravenous longing:

What do I lack that they do not?

It is gentle regrowth:

You lack nothing.

It is a snap of the fingers for the ball to come to a halt.

I met you years ago; I do not know you anymore.

It is heavy, honey flavored:

You are so much more than I thought.

It is awake at night wondering what can be salvaged:

When did forever become a memory?

Ravenous longing:

Maybe some things are better when they aren’t.

Gentle regrowth.

I miss you all so much, more than you will ever know, and not enough to bring back something that can never be the same.
