Ryan Art Dump

recently i've been drawing a lot of art of my Hylics OC (and mascot for this account pretty much), Ryan! Maybe I'll make a post about the l o r e eventually. once i figure it out at least. wanted to dump it here as a backup and just to share! if you know anything about Hylics let me know if they fit the aesthetic! it's pretty difficult to make characters that match it since it's such a funky style. Still getting used to the blog editor so hopefully this displays correctly.

Soggy Ryan lmao. i like to think they fell into the ocean or something.

The start of a ref sheet. it's now a little outdated since I have changed Ryan's physical body to be less "full". Not in a negative context or way, but a more bony and slightly masculine figure would fit them since they are part of a space-faring intersex race.

Ryan with a couple of Wayne larvae! A part of their story I might go with is that they were required to take care of some larvae in the Afterlife before returning to the overworld and being allowed to coexist peacefully with the main 4 as well as civilization.

Ryan duking it out with the guy trying to scam you for Link Mollusk in the second game. Thought this was a funny idea (contains swearing).

Ryan's original ref sheet. They have rounded points on their star-shaped head and only one visible eye. No defined human-shaped face. They wear a striped spaghetti-strap jumpsuit and fishnet gloves instead of their current business-y jumpsuit.
