some catching up

Wow! My dad was right when he said that time goes faster as you get older. And that you lose track of time along the way.

I forgot to blog about last weekend's show!!

I filled in on guitar (of course) with the cover band Supernova, and it was definitely a WILD night. Black River Barn (Randolph NJ) is small, and the crowd looked like sardines. Was insane seeing all these bodies dancing, carrying on, singing along (to Metallica?!), and whatnot. We did three sets of songs ranging from The Beatles to Billie Eilish to The Spinners...was a cool set list!

Also had rehearsal tonight with my band, went over the new songs, this time Brian and I added effects to some parts to spice things up. We all agree that things are moving rather quickly, which is great. Hoping to start recording in May and finish in June like back in 2021. Only this time, with a true trio, we can bang things out a lot easier.

Oh and another cover band asked me to fill on March 17. More to follow...
