complaining abt dumb stuff B)

heyy !! im just here to complain about accounts with literally zero posts 😻

I feel like I should preface this with, no there is absolutely nothing wrong w/ people just making Spacehey accounts for the aesthetic or whatever euphoria they get from just having the ability to say "yea I TECHNICALLY had myspace 🤷‍♀️"

BUTTT because im opinionated and online, i wanted to talk abt how im lowk bothered by the amount of people on Spacehey who have little to no activity other than what i can assume to be random adds and updating their "about me" / layout. I personally feel like Spacehey is made for blogging and finding friends through that but i guess because of the popularity raise from Tiktok and Instagram, a lot of people flock here with the intentions to make an account and prob let it simmer in the website for a few months / year instead of using it for what its made for (i.e. blogging and friend making).

To me it gives a lot of Hipster-ish vibes, like how everyone was feeling when they saw "alt" girls wear t-shirts of bands that they didn't know or weren't familiar with. Idrc if I myself sound like a hipster for being so quietly bothered by people just having Spacehey to just have it, but it just doesnt make sense why you would have Spacehey if you don't blog or interact. Especially when there are so many other platforms that have more for you to look at / interact with other than blogging, reading other people's blogs, and adding people. 

I guessss to me it just doesnt make sense why people would want to make a Spacehey account if its just to be edgy or fuck with the layouts for 15 minutes and add a bunch of people they're way to introverted to talk to. The community is already pretty small so people just inserting themselves here just to be an edgy hipster makes me worry sometimes that this community will get either washed away by Hipsters or taken over by them :')) 

Just some thoughts tho !! Feel free to share yours ! Not trying to Gatekeep Spacehey, just dont want to get run over by hipsters :"o ! XOXO <33
