After being absolutely exhausted yesterday after a bad night's sleep and long day of work and school, I wound up falling asleep on call with my friends. Twice, actually, because I remember waking up once and saying something before falling immediately back asleep within thirty minutes. When I woke up for real this morning at five I was still in the call, alone except for the music bot. It felt amazing to wake up naturally though, without the alarm, and I feel so well rested. Probably won't last long, but it's nice for today!
And today's my last midterm, so it's a good day for it too. I'm not super worried-- it's in genetics, and I'm pretty good at genetics, I think. It's mostly pretty basic stuff too-- monohybrid and dihybrid crosses, pedigrees, sex-linked transmission of genes, etc. Still, I'll have to use my gap between classes to study-- and I'll have to stay later than usual because I can't go to the earlier class since it's a test day. But after that, I can relax a bit!
Less than four days until I'm travelling to Pennsylvania with my friend Lyra. I'm nervous, but excited-- I'm going to have to do a lot of preparation Thursday night. I'll be pretty busy until then. Mostly I need to decide what books to pack...
