very good game ^_^ here's my thoughts

touhou koumakyou: embodiment of scarlet devil

a very good shmup and my intro to the touhou games. i can see why this series has gone on for so long, as the gameplay is very engaging. it's really hard, but i beat it on easy because i wanted to experience the story. i would love to go back and beat the game on normal because it's really fun! i enjoy the leveling up system and the story is silly, but the music is absolutely top notch. there's just something about the MIDI format tracks and the way that they're composed that makes them perfect for me.
