i hate this show (affectionate). we are less than a minute in and t'pol is saying the crew needs to have more sex because efficiency is down

t'pol is very funny. "here is the 20 page list of protocols to adhere to when speaking to the ambassador. don't fuck this up" and then ten minutes later "how are you going to defend yourself. are you saying you're guilty? i'm disappointed with you."

i like ambassador vilar. it's interesting to learn who t'pol looks up to, and that one of her heroes is a woman who openly offers to shake hands with humans and drinks ice tea and such. it's sweet that she still remembered meeting t'pol decades ago and that "(her) bluntness made me reconsider my decisions"

they hyped up the crew going to risa and then they just.. didn't. i guess it happened on screen afterwards? i wish they'd shown it, it would've been the first time a human ship had been to risa, presumably before it was universally known as the pleasure planet. i would've liked to see what it looked like in this time period
