Wow, do I have a story about today. Kinda a mini rant/tangent.
So me and one of my "friends" had an argument because of this shitty ass drama that has happened for the past year or so.
To put it simply, she's hanging out with some guy in my grade who is widely known as bad news (Like, proven to SA people and has many victims that I have talked to myself). I started by warning her lightly, she never listened, I went to desperate measures and had an outright argument over it, still didn't listen. And back whenever it first started happening, I made an impulsive move to basically ruin her whole reputation. (It was a shitty thing to do, I admit, i was in the wrong entirely for that.)
But later on we kissed and made up for what, half a year after the guy got expelled and had her blocked.
Flashback to now, he's back from alternative school (because our school system is awful) and as soon as he came back, they are clinging onto one another like no one else's business. And, she has a boyfriend too so double yikes.
I tried to hope back outbursting on her again but she wouldn't listen.
Notta.
None.
Still even after she said she would get off of him because he's obviously using her for her body but she doesn't care.
She came up to me on SC and played mad victim, using me hanging out with one of my friends as a backup whenever it was proven that my friends accusations were cut up, out of context screenshots. Then after that, accused me of never being there for her when my friends made fun of her this year (which isn't fucking true, I've called them out multiple times.)
I had my say, calling her out on how she's trying to play as a martyr and how embarrassing it was for her to think that I was never there for her whenever she outright never listened to any warnings i've given her. She had never taken anything i've said seriously and now she's basically cheating on her boyfriend with him.
Like, am I the asshole for trying to help her and when she doesn't listen, she flips the situation around to make it seem like i'm just as bad as she is? (Like, genuinely, am I in the wrong?)
I can't say what exactly the moral of this is, but if they don't listen the first time, they'll probably never listen until they get what what everyone else expected.
