HERO Chs. 88 & 89

New scanlations are out! Nakata and Ken are cheating (big surprise /s) with a one-way flying tile technique that keeps Nakata's hand open to just about anything, mainly to strike at Asaguma. Pretty straightforward and being able to just wait on any tile let's Ken catch Saeki unaware.

I wish I could explain the games better to y'all but brother there is a reason why I wait for more skilled people to translate the manga rather than read it myself Thankfully this time it's simple enough for even me to grasp: more tiles = more chance to make a hand = fast hand, just as Taira so kindly calculates

I just hope that cheating doesn't get Ken stabbed again

 

It reminds me of the artist who drew SO MUCH taikano and they were like the only artist on pixiv with any Taira content at all. So through their art they already influenced the way I saw Taira waaay before reaching the part of the manga where he shows up. They have since taken down a lot of their work, like all of their HERO stuff, and I miss it so much.

Anyway this point I can safely say Taira is just like me fr so now you have some lore on why I use him as my pfp. His calculating nature reminds me of young Hiroyuki except Taira is obviously dependent on his phone so hmmm I want to see how he grows from that.
