February was fun!! it is March now and I'm expecting it to be even better. And yet again this blog post is late but at this point you should expect that from me.
So, from the 6th to the 21st, I was overseas on a trip to Finland with my family! It was fun, but too cold for me lmao. We did so much.
On the 6th, it was just the flight. The next day we just drove to another town and went to some open-air museum? I don't remember exactly what it was I have shit memory. But it was fun. however I was cold and I did bitch about the cold (I'm Israeli so idk how to dress right for literal snow). Then the next day we went to a zoo! We saw a bunch of animals that live more up north and not like. Near the equator. Then we went hiking in some nature reserve to see frozen waterfalls. Then we went to this giant tourist attraction that I did not like (it was loud and had too many people. also the light everywhere were insanely bright) but it was still rly pretty. Then we went to this amethyst mine and I got some amethysts for a witch friend!! I hope she likes them... Then me n my dad rode on like, a snowmobile route and it got INSANELY windy on the way back so everything was just white. Wasn't that scary though. Then we went to this ice sculpture display... they were cool. And we also were on an icebreaker! it was cool but apparently very expensive and very foggy. Not optimal weather. And then we drove to Helsinki (our last stop b4 flying back) and just kind walked around, it looked nice. Then we were supposed to spend the day in a waterpark, but I hate water and swimming so I was allowed to not go. Then it was my dad's bday!! and we went to a finnish military air museum since he loves planes, wars and history. He was absolutely ecstatic and just explained everything about the planes and just reading whatever the explanations said. We def took him to the right place because we spent like 4 hours there. Then we bought some cake. It was really tasty.
The next day we left the house early and went to the airport. Our layover flight was in Munich and our poor souls did NOT know there was a festival happening that day. It was a 12 hour layover (incl. customs n stuff). It was crazy and I liked it but WOW it got really overwhelming. It was pretty though. After that we went back to the airport, boarded the plane, and landed in the Ben Gurion/TLV airport pretty late, drove back, and only arrived home at 4am.
by the way, this trip was my sister's Bat Mitzvah trip and my parents saved up for it for like a year so we're not rly all that rich to afford all of that and I also partially chipped in for souvenirs ::D. We are currently recovering from paying so much. Also I got a leather jacket that I paid for myself (rip like half my pocket money but it was worth it). Also finding kosher food was near impossible (obviously) and my parents also don't eat kosher but *I* do so it was on extreme mode. I just bought whatever said "halal" on the back of the package (since they work p similarly, no?). This trip was lots of fun but I'm definitely more of a warmer climate person.
By the way, the day I returned home (the 22nd) I also had a running exam. Where the grade goes to my final highschool grade. So I only slept like 3 hours. I'm still surprised that I didn't horrendously fail the exam. And apparently I was supposed to return to school after the exam (we ran laps around this pond that's 30 minutes away from my school, by car) and uh. I didn't return bc I was deadbeat and needed a 10 hour nap. Thankfully I haven't gotten in trouble yet so I'd consider myself safe. Or the teacher just felt bad. Whatever! As long as I don't get in trouble...
but yeah!! also it was purim week in school which means costumes. On the 26th it was fiction day so I decided to go as count Dracula and... Literally no one dressed up. Dry ass school. On the 27th was horror day but I didn't have costume ideas so I didn't come in one. 28th was pajamas day so I just went in my goth pajamas. On the 1st and 2nd I didn't dress up and I'll tell y'all about it next month in the March update!!
take care xx. Anyways now to vocalsynths.
On the 12th, released the VSinger V5 updates!! It includes the V5 updates of Luo Tianyi, Yuezheng Ling and Yan He! I love them and they sound neat!! vocaloid voicebank news are always good. Their new designs are so adorable!! I love the way Ling looks like. And Tianyi's new wing form is also pretty cool!
On the 16th, released Ninezero! Ninezero is based off of a metal singer who's name he shares. I don't like him that much tbh. I like metal and I like vocalsynths, and I love the two combined together... But I didn't connect much to him. I mean he's cool and maybe I just haven't hears enough of him but for now I don't like him. I in general don't connect much to Dreamtonics' default vocal series but idk maybe I'll like him if I gave him a second try.
On the 24th released Chis-A's english voicebank! Our queen and icon of CeVio's sister project VoiSona. She sounds really nice, and the sound is near identical to her japanese voicebank! However I don't like how it's subscription-based. Chis-A's whole gimmick is being a free voice so her english voicebank not being free is just... Odd. She still slayed in her english design though, she looks really fucking awesome. She's absolutely slaying and I love the more popular singer-like outfit she has compared to her japanese design where she's in that flowy long skirt and big coat.
and that concludes the synth releases in February! have a great day. Let's see what March brings!!
