music recs for long, long car rides?

hey :D i've got to go on a trip where i'll be sitting in a car for a good majority of the time- particularly through areas that don't get good enough reception for youtube or spotify, so i'll have to use my mp3 player a good bit of the time.

any recommendations? i'm not picky on genre, but songs that are easy to listen to over and over again in close succession are probably better than ones that aren't </3 and i'm always more of a fan of trying artists that i probably haven't heard of before than ones i know are more popular

I'm super late to this post :p, but funilly enough the album "This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About" by Modest Mouse was pretty much MADE to be music to stare out the window or drive a barren highway to. Mostly cuz the band came up out the Midwest Emo song even if their music isn't traditionally emo and more toward the late 90s Indie sound with Midwest Emo flavored guitars.

You might've heard it already, but I promise the experience is like way better when ur on a long drive ^_^ !!!!

SOOOO BEAUTIFUL, easy to forget the Modest Mouse debut in the sea of emo indie rock, but that album is so classic. Absolutely amazing on long roads, just as the title suggests :D

Listened to it on a road-trip recently and it was honestly amazing

Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus, it's the original goth song, and it's 10 minutes long. Very ambient and weirdly soothing for such an eerie style.

I suggest Anchordeep or Start a Cult from the Cult of the Lamb OST. Honestly that whole soundtrack is amazing.
