Almost drank alcohol

I'm slowly running out of topic ideas (Help).....

hey welcome back

so I went to a birthday party today and thought I would talk about that.

So this was my mom's friend's birthday and my mother was making the cupcakes for this party so I got invited, honestly, I like getting dressed up and going to parties, and this party also had a theme which was also fun. The theme was 80's music so I wore a guns and roses tee and made myself punk esc. One thing that didn't really get me in the mood tho was that other than the birthday person and her 10-year-old daughter I didn't know anyone there.

We drove up to the house which was up in the mountains and got the cupcakes out of the car, I didn't realize how cold it would be but didn't think we would be standing outside for very long. My mom pushed the doorbell and nothing happened, we ended up ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door 3 times til a girl sort of my age opened the door.

It was freezing and we got in the house which is a suburban house with two stories. This house was huge tho. We walked past a table with food on it and into the kitchen. As you would expect granite countertops and dark wood cabinets. 

The rest of the night was really awkward cause no one knew each other, I almost drank alcohol cause it wasn't labeled and was bright pink and I set it down, right before my mom came over and told me that it might be an alcoholic drink she smelled it and gave me her coke so crisis averted ig.

Again it was really awkward we slightly made conversation with a few people every now and then but it was barely a few words. Two girls that are one year older than me tried to start a conversation with me but I don't know what it is about people who I don't know and are older than me I never want to conversate with them. It's like I think they're going to think I'm less than them just cause I'm younger. But I have no problem talking to kids. (It's probably the reverse of that)

Alr so nothing else happened that was interesting sorry for click-baiting you even though the drink I got was alcohol.
