soo I was watching a crime show I love called"Mind hunters" recommended unless u get triggered, anyways, it was talking about a book called,"The presentation of self in everyday life" by Erving Goffman. What I find interesting was that it talks about how there "We wear these masks to make everyone comfortable" for instance they're expectations for many things one being woman should be nice, they should always. One of the girls quoted in the show,"I once tried not smiling for a day and it was really weird" even if they weren't much of a smiler it made them feel off and freaked people out, they also quoted how people would ask if she was ok. Anyways I really thought that was interesting how people assimilate wearing things or acting as everyone else go make others comfortable. to fit in. However, what would you wear when no one is looking? how would you act when ur alone and comfortable? think about it and tell id love too know. This theory also kinda relates to the herding sheep theory, on how everyone will try and fit in, for example, one person begins to clap others will also start. Its interesting.
interesting theory from a show, listen to me ramble
