dirt quality

today i helped pull out some plants from my yard(we unfortunately had to because when they age, they grow prickly and it's slightly dangerous) but one good thing that came out of it was we found our soil was very loamy and nice! it was a deep, rich brown and was moist to the touch. it's mostly due to the recent rain(very odd for the desert, but yk climate change and such) and while i know its not really normal for our type of ecosystem, i just had to admire it for a second. literally perfect growing soil it was gorgeous and it's like. wow.

this is where life came from and this is where I'll return to.
