Elsagate by Wikipedia’s definition is “ Elsagate is a neologism referring to the controversy surrounding videos on YouTube and YouTube Kids that are categorized as "child-friendly", but which contain themes that are very inappropriate for young children. Most videos under this classification are notable for presenting inappropriate content; those include graphic violence, sexual situations, fetishes, obscene language, drugs, alcohol, nudity, injections, disease, off-color humor, dangerous or upsetting situations and activities. These videos often feature fictional characters from family-oriented media, sometimes via crossovers, used without legal permission.”

Elsagate was often used with characters like Elsa, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, peps pig and more.

But nowadays you it’s impossible to find a old style elsagate video because of coppa 

But that never meant it disappeared, it simply evolved now instead using FnF characters, Huggy wuggy, among us, FNAF, Roblox horror game characters and more.

The channels often say they are 13+ only (despite no 13 year old would watch this garbage) or say they are meme channels, also YouTube's ceos (new and old) arent the best people so its not suprising not much action was happening 

Luckily more, Youtubers are starting to call this out Such as raymundo2112 and swananaenae
