"Make Music or Lose" is a period piece inspired by emotive hardcore, punk rock, rap, trap and pop, Y2K subculture, goth subculture, scene subculture, my travels as a music blogger and fashion trends such as KandiKor, Fairy Core, and Aliyah Core. Inspired by Emo Night at Bonnaroo 2022. It is electronic emo music with trap inspired beats and Kandi sweet pop vocals with a gothic delivery and poetic lyrical formats. The lyrics themselves take inspiration from punk and emo rap such as Juice WRLD. The song itself is the definition of a genre, with a connected fashion trend #kandikor which was born at the first three day long EDC Orlando event. The "make music or lose movement" was started on spacehey by Jordyn Baby Woods to bring attention to the importance of the arts, HIV & AIDS awareness, climate awareness and stopping child abuse. The song was featured in "Dark Mode", a digital quilt and magazine which gathered global attention when Vogue Brasil liked Jordyn Baby Woods' comment "πͺ©ππΎπ€" after Jordyn Baby Woods made best of LA fashion in their new app Teleport. She has been wearing πͺ©ππΎπ€ ever since, as Vogue liked a Mode's outfit!!!! It's a big deal underground. Fashionistas Patrick Church, Qween Bay, Alex Kautz, and actor Justin Ebenhack were just a few inspirations during the weaving of the digital quilt. Others include artist Fiona Maura and AURORA as a part of fairy core and Aliyah's Interlude as a part of Aliyahcore. Rising punk star Stacy Doan was along for the ride as an ear to the youth rage needed to add to this track, as it was born during Jordyn Baby Woods' collaboration with Slasher Stacy "Donnie" Doan, aka Knife Boy. His presence makes "Make Music or Lose" a punk movement, which garnered the attention of fashionistas everywhere. This song itself was written, produced and performed by Jordyn Baby Woods with an aligned Y2K inspired music video, making it a 2000's period piece at the same time. I am proud to present 3MO as a new genre: the ELECTRONIC EMOTIVE HARDCORE subculture which is called 3MO, documented on a spacehey music blog, with KandiKor as a supporting fashion trend which was born alongside the genre at EDCO 2021, Bonnaroo 2022, and the Teleport and Instagram Apps. "Dark Mode" the album and digital quilt are available on Apple Music, Instagram and Discord; Dark Mode defines 3MO and KandiKor.
The song itself captures a nonchalant aloofness paired with a KandiKor sweet melody, and a love for making music which I hope never goes away. We need the arts.
