Talking about shi* until I land on some sort of topic.

Hmmm. I feel like there's so many things I could write about but I have no idea so I'm just gonna spill my thoughts and see if anything is interesting enough to expand more upon.

Actually, maybe I'll make this just sort of talking about what I'm doing and what I have to do.

So, this week, school wise, I've got to finish some health work and some Gifted class work. School is alright I guess. Not much is happening. I'll just go through how I'm doing in each of my periods I guess.

1st period is my math class. I'd like to say that I'm doing well but honestly I haven't been learning anything this week. We're learning about new equations and functions and what not but all we really do is listen to a 20-30 minute lecture then do some work on a website. I'd honestly prefer if we did some textbook work because last year my teacher had us do all of our assignments in textbooks and I actually had a really productive year. But now, I am not retaining any information at all. Sure I've got an A in this class but I care more about if I'm actually learning anything. But then again, if I really did care, I would try to make an effort to learn in this environment. Even if I don't have access to the best resources. But hey, it's math. Ion know how important this is gonna be for dentistry or healthcare. (Don't tell me how ion wanna know)

2nd period is my English class. It's fine. It's supposed to be honors class but I don't really feel like it is. Right now we're reading this story by Guy de Maupessant and I guess the unit is kind of interesting. We're going to read the entire story then try to modernize it by injecting some 21st century stuff into it yk? So there will definitely be some interesting renditions of that story.

3rd period is Culinary. I like cooking but it's kind of annoying cooking here with people that don't know how, as well as not having the resources that I like. I also feel really bad for the teacher. The students treat her really badly so I try to be nice at her.

4th period is health. The teacher is boring as hell I swear to God. He only does a little lecture then ahs us do work and that class is dead silent. Sometimes there will be moments where we're all talking but yesterday nobody was. And of course, me and my friend were the only people talking. The work isn't that hard but it's just time consuming so I haven't been motivated to really do any work outside of class. But God damn I wish the teacher at least said something or tried to strike up convos.

5th period is P.E. Now, I like P.E. P.E. is fun. I would like to classify myself as a somewhat active person. I'll try to participate in the activities but I fucking hate that stupid dumb ass musty dusty crusty old short bald troll looking ugly on the outside and on the inside turtle looking ass stubby plump son of a bitch "coach" montoya. Other than that I've got a pretty fun class that makes that class interesting, as well as one friend.

6th period is Biology. I like biology a lot. It's probably my favorite class. The teacher is interesting (even though he randomly yells and makes weird sounds) and has a good connection with the students. The only thing that I don't really like though is that he gets involved with all of the gossip so that's kind of off putting but eh. The work isn't that hard usually. It just takes some time because almost every assignment requires a bunch of drawings or multiple pages of notes. So I just put on my headphones and get lost in my work which is pretty calming tbh.

7th period is my Gifted class. I didn't really choose this elective so idk. We just kind of do whatever. there are Units though and topics of study. Last week we were looking at our states legislative bills and did an assignment on one of our choice, looking into who is supporting it. This week, we started a podcast called Lime town or sum. So far we've gotten 3 episodes in and it's a cool podcast. We're supposed to take notes and what not but I have done absolutely no work on it so I guess I'm going to have to finish those up sometime before they all pile on.

But I guess that's everything about school right now.

I'm going to write a different blog now. (I've got a lot of spare time.)
