season 3 theories - the owl house

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 AND SEASON 3 OF THE OWL HOUSE

ok I was thinking about how someone on tumblr said that hunter was only saved from death from belos' possession because he had a palisman, flapjack. but raine is possessed rn and they don't have a palisman. so they're likely to die from the possession if their body can't handle it like hunter's didnt. BUT that made me think. you know who DOES have a palisman? you know who would do ANYTHING to keep her loved ones alive?

so owlbert could potentially save raine if it came down to it by giving them his life/magic energy.

although, its mentioned several times that raine is a super powerful witch! so I think it also might be unlikely for them to die. HOWEVER........

they might be pretty weakened. although considering that hunter is a grimwalker and not an actual witch, and he's also much younger than raine, I think that could've been why hunter nearly died from belos' posession. raine is a lot older, stronger, and actually a witch with more magic and more powerful magic, despite being weakened, I assume. and uh. they're also a puppet right now, sort of frozen in time, so I don't think their body will suffer from it. that is, unless, belos somehow leads raine to a death by controlling their body.
