Feed by M.T. Anderson
8/10
Good book overall. Hard to follow at times, and as someone who can struggle with staying attentive that hurt my opinion of the book overall.
The story is based in a futuristic society where most of society has a brain chip that connects them to a "feed". This feed is basically a constant social media/internet access for people who have it, as well as becoming a direct connection with their musculoskeletal system. These people are the Feed and it is Them. The story follows a group of kids who become victims of a micro-terrorist attack and how some of them grow and struggle through it.
The ending is very open, leaving many questions and ideas about how it could have continued or changed.
