My friend wants a large ass acrylic paint on canvas landscape done for her dad commissioned and i have 0 IDEA on how much to charge.
I dont really do landscapes (i can i think? Its just not my thing. I can totally figure it out but im gna be hyperventilating in the mean time i havent painted large scale traditionally in a bit) so im a little nervous about it
In addition, she wanted my biggest canvas. Im kinda even nervous about the paint needed to cover it all giskgks
How much would i charge for this? Are there tips on making it easier? I did oil painting in college but it was from life and not from reference photos .
Literally any help would be appreciated! Coms make me so nervous and this is for a friends dad ;w;

im gonna b honest ive never done art commissions so this is very nonspecific advice but generally when idk how much to charge for something my math is like. cost of materials, then i try to estimate how much time it's gonna take me, then i gotta decide how much i feel like an hour of my labour is worth, and set a price based on that × the time estimate
