Quick art store trip

Today I went to this independently owned art store and I loved it omg. （＾ｖ＾）I love going to Michaels, but idk this place just felt waayy more organized and specific. 

I should’ve gotten some photos of the art store and it’s products so you could see what I mean. I really liked how friendly the owner and the cashier were, polite and quiet. The store was super quiet though which made me feel nervous since my boyfriend and I were the only customers in the store. I felt like anything I said was being said through a megaphone because it was so quiet lol. 

They had a small upstairs with these different kinds of paper as well. I know some are used for oil pastels, but the rest I’m not too. They were handmade, colorful and some even had different designs. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, I’d love to know what that paper is for. 

I bought some oil pastels(I was out), a 4h pencil(I lost mine again) and a sharpener(my last one broke. It was plastic. I hate those). What I should've bought was some gesso, but next time.
